Red Poppy Canvas Print
Product Information
This is a 40″ x 26.6″ (101.6cm x 67.6cm) canvas print of a bright red poppy. It was the lone red poppy in a field orange and white poppies at the Yokohama English Garden, a park in Yokohama City, Japan. I really liked the paper-like texture of the petals and how the red just popped.
The image is printed on premium stretched canvas with a glossy finish.
About the Canvas Print
Chromata White Glossy Canvas has a bright white tone for a vibrant result. It is made from an acid-free poly/cotton blend. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5″ x 1.5″ stretcher bars (gallery wrap).
This stretched canvas print has a gallery wrap, a type of wrap that is very popular nowadays. The type of gallery wrap is Continuous Mirrored Image: the outer 1.75″ edge of the image is mirrored on the wrap (stretcher bars). The clean and simple look fits perfectly in contemporary homes.
The print arrives as “ready to hang” with pre-attached hanging wire, mounting hooks and nails.

3D Visualization
Here, the canvas print hangs on a white wall. It is printed on a very large canvas, about 48″ x 32″.
The bright red of the poppy print is matched in hue by The Egg chair, a modern classic designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958. This chair is manufactured by Fritz Hansen, using state-of-the-art materials.
I feel that a simple stretched canvas print with no frame is the best match for the clean lines of this beautiful and comfortable curvilinear masterpiece.

Love the simplicity. Wish I could afford The Egg! It’s the best chair ever designed. Your pic is PERFECT for it!
Thanks, Han, so glad you like the print! I totally agree with you on The Egg. If I won the lottery I would not hesitate at all to buy a pair of the Fritz Hansen ones 🙂
Nice print!
Have you sat on an egg chair yet? It looks cool but I think it might be uncomfortable to sit on because your neck has to be bent forward if the chair is as tall as it looks.
Oh no, not uncomfortable at all! Yes, I’ve sat on an Egg chair, the real one, too (an authentic piece costs more than 4,000 USD so you don’t see them everywhere). There’s a pair on the first floor lounge of the National Art Center in Tokyo. They’re quite popular among visitors! Nori and I really loved sitting on them. I’m tellin’ ya, they’re the most comfortable chairs we had ever sat on, EVER! We’ve shared pics before, check out Google Plus 🙂 If we had the money and the space we’d buy two of these masterpieces.
