In a previous article I modeled a Ruhlmann-designed table based on a picture in the book Furniture: World Styles from Classical to Contemporary by Judith Miller.

Like many of Ruhlmann’s pieces, the exotic wood veneer is the main form of decoration. c.1929. Ruhlmann’s table is so gorgeous I am inspired to pick up some of its design elements and show how they truly enhance a piece of furniture.
